Liverpool Picturebook is fortunate to be able to host a number of photographs from the Merseyside amateur football league including a selection of images of Liverpool amateur football referees. The photographs are from the personal collection of Billy Flanagan.

Liverpool County Football Association celebrated their Centenary Dinner at the Liverpool Adelphi Hotel on Friday 26th November 1982.
In attendance were The Lord Mayor Stanley Airey, Lady Mayors, Football Association Secretary Ted Croker, Sports Minister Neil Macfarlane, Liverpool County Chaiman Jack Allen, County Secretary Syd Rudd, Assistant Secretary Arthur Derbyshire. County Treasurer Doug Bell, and all their Council Members and their guests.
As well as League Secretary's, Club Secretary's and Referee's were invited. There were speeches on the night from, The Lord Mayor, Sports Minister, Football Association, Liverpool County Football Association.
Liverpool County Football Association thanked everyone who attended the evening,and also Adelphi Hotel for a great evening enjoyed by everyone.
